Introduction

This Website is a personal photographic record of a rather hectic 21 day Tour of the Far East, Australia and New Zealand organised by Newmarket Holidays in May & June 2009. The Tour commenced at Schipol Airport, Amsterdam with an overnight China Airways flight to Bangkok for a three night stay. Whilst in Thailand we visited the famous Floating Market, Rose Garden as well as some free time in Bangkok.

From Bangkok we flew to Sydney, New South Wales (via Taipei, Taiwan) for a thee night stay. As well as some free time in Sydney we enjoyed a Tour of the City and a Harbour Cruise.

After Sydney we flew to Christchurch, New Zealand for a six day whistle stop Tour of both South & North Islands stayin one night at Dunedin, Te Anau, Queenstown, Twizel & Auckland & Rotorua.

The next leg of the Tour was a flight from Auckland to Gold Coast Airport, Queensland foa two night stay in the well known Australian Resort. Whilst here we enjoyed a day trip to the Rainforest at Lamington National Park.

The final part of the Tour was via overnight fligts to Hong Kong, China again with a stop over at Taipei. Whilst in Hong Kong we enjoyed a City Tour including a trip on the Mount Victoria Funicular Railway and a visit to Stanley plus some free time and a Harbour Diner Cruise. Finally we flew back to Schipol via Bangkok.
